Recognizing the specialized care often required for mesothelioma treatment, this program ensures that patients can travel to and stay near specialized treatment centers without added financial stress.

General Transportation Assistance

Cancer Care also provides broader transportation assistance in the form of gas cards, car service vouchers, or public transportation passes. This program aims to remove transportation barriers for patients needing help getting to and from appointments, treatments, and essential cancer-related services.

Disaster Relief Fund

In times of crisis, Cancer Care’s Disaster Relief Fund offers immediate financial support to cancer patients affected by natural disasters across the U.S. If you have been impacted by a disaster, please call our Hopeline at 800-813-4673 to speak with an oncology social worker and explore eligibility for this fund. Funding is allocated quickly and requires a financial application and adherence to program guidelines.

Pet Assistance and Wellness (PAW) Program

Understanding the vital role pets play in the lives of many cancer patients, the Pet Assistance and Wellness (PAW) Program provides financial aid for pet care. This program recognizes that caring for a pet can become challenging during cancer treatment, and aims to ensure that patients do not have to worry about their beloved companions during this difficult time.
