Sorelle’s path began with discovering her passion for sports communications. She actively sought mentorship within Hofstra’s Athletics Communications and Marketing departments, learning from professionals like Rachel Vogel and Stephen Gorchov. Participating in the Women’s Sports Foundation/NBC Sport Group Mentoring Program further solidified her career direction. Simultaneously, Sorelle honed her leadership skills as media relations coordinator for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and through the Pride Leadership Academy. These experiences, coupled with guidance from the Center for Career, allowed Sorelle to strategically align her passion with practical skills.
