My Personal Fenty Hair Experience: From Wash to Blowout
Beyond the product details, my firsthand experience with Fenty Hair truly brought the line to life. After a quick consultation about my desired style – a sleek, silky blowout – and a gentle detangling session, I was led to the wash station to begin the Fenty Hair transformation. The stylist started with The Rich One Moisture Repair Shampoo. Immediately, the scent was captivating – truly amazing. Beyond the fragrance, the shampoo felt incredibly moisturizing, a significant plus for my naturally curly hair which often gets dried out by many shampoos. The stylist also highlighted the shampoo’s lightweight nature, assuring me it wouldn’t weigh down my curls. Following the shampoo, The Richer One Moisture Repair Deep Conditioner was applied. This deep conditioner was a revelation – it felt sumptuously soft and luxurious on both my scalp and hair strands. The slip it provided was exceptional, making detangling even easier and ensuring my hair felt thoroughly nourished.

Moving to Yusef’s chair marked the beginning of the styling phase. He initially used a towel to remove excess water before massaging in The Protective Type 5-in-1 Heat Protectant Styler. As a regular heat styler user for my curly hair, I appreciated the lightweight cream texture of this protectant. Promising heat protection up to 450 degrees, it also works to smooth, defrizz, and further detangle hair. Yusef sectioned my hair and proceeded to blow-dry each part from root to tip. Post blow-drying, Yusef refined the style with a flat iron, using only a single pass per section, showcasing the product’s effectiveness and minimizing heat exposure. He finalized the look by adding voluminous curls at the ends with a curling iron and expertly slicking down my edges using The Controlling Type Hair-Thickening Edge Control Gel and The Sidestick 3-in-1 Edge Tool.
