Alexander Sixt, born in 1979, has been Co-Chairman of the Management Board of Sixt SE, a leading global mobility service provider, since June 2021, alongside his brother Konstantin Sixt. This leadership structure marks a significant chapter in Sixt Rent A Car’s ongoing evolution.
Sixt’s journey with the company began in 2009, focusing initially on enhancing efficiency at Allane SE (formerly Sixt Leasing SE). He subsequently spearheaded group strategy and oversaw innovative mobility solutions like DriveNow and group purchasing. His strategic vision played a crucial role in shaping Sixt rent a car’s offerings.
In 2015, Alexander Sixt joined the Management Board, assuming responsibility for the global SIXT TECH division. His portfolio expanded to encompass Group Strategy/M&A, global Human Resources, Group Purchasing, and the management of global shared services and administrative functions. This broad scope underscores his comprehensive understanding of Sixt rent a car’s operations.

Currently, in addition to his Co-CEO responsibilities, Alexander Sixt leads Group Strategy, Global Human Resources, IT (both software and hardware), PR/Communications, and Global Business Services. Prior to Sixt, Alexander Sixt honed his skills at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, specializing in corporate performance and restructuring. His academic achievements include a Diplome de Grande Ecole and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from ESCP Business School in Paris, London, and Berlin, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Corporate Finance. This strong academic foundation provides a solid base for his leadership at Sixt rent a car.
